We are proud to announce that Łukasz Wodarczyk, M.A., has won this year's Best Teacher of the Academic Year 2020/2021 Poll, organized by the Students' Government of Lodz University of Technology. Lukasz Wodarczyk is an experienced English language teacher, TELC examiner and coordinator of the translation team at the Lodz Language Centre.
In July and September 2021 we had the pleasure of participating in a teachingtrainingsession "Active Lessons" led by Marta Rosińska (DOS-ELTea).
We are pleased to announce that we have started preparations for the next, already the fourth edition of the Lektor High-Tech conference. The planned date of the next event is September 2022.
On 19 December 2021, the Language Centre hosted three in-house training sessions led by our colleagues: Mariola Hejduk, Agnieszka Świderek and Ewa Muszczynko.
On Friday 22 October 2021 we participated in an away training "Team building in the work of a teacher. Motivating effective communication and cooperation with colleagues and students". In the training programme we worked on the challenges of working in three dimensions of team success: Results, Processes and Relationships.
We are proud to announce that Szymon Pędziwiatr, M.Sc. has won the Poll, Best Teacher of the Academic Year 2019/2020, organized by the Student Government of Lodz University of Technology. Szymon Pędziwiatr, MA, is an experienced English speaker and translator with 25 years of experience in teaching English. He specializes in technical and specialist language.
